Several leaders of Mt Wellington Community Church youth joined with young adults from Tāmaki Community Church, Hukanui Bible Church, Raleigh Street Christian Centre as well as para-church groups.
Connect. Pray. Refresh(CPR) started last July. Gillian Guptill (MWCC) says the event fulfills a need in the current generation of “young adults from our church to meet and be encouraged by others . . . we call it CPR for Young Adults because we want them to connect, pray together and leave refreshed”.
Ariana Guptill says, “I’m involved with youth ministry, so it's really nice to come along to CPR and relax, meet new people, worship God, and just have fun together”.
