On Tuesday, 29 April, 10 CCCNZ pastors and ministry staff from the Manawatū region gathered for morning tea at Kingston Community Church (KCC). Churches present were Feilding Bible Chapel, Church on Vogel, Crossroads Church, and KCC.
From left to right, front row: Isaac Pettersen, Karin Cox, Mikaela Hosking, Nicky Beukes. Back row: Gary Gilpin, Reuben Porter, Jacob Kendrew, Kerry Rickard, Nevin Beukes, and Ezra Meehan.
We asked each other some significant questions: “What first stirred your heart toward pastoral ministry, and how has that calling evolved over time?” “What is one thing God is currently teaching you — either personally or in your leadership?” “What’s one challenge and one joy you're experiencing in your ministry right now?”
We shared good coffee and a great morning tea, thanks to the team at KCC. Lastly, we heard about supports, resources and events coming up for pastoral leaders in CCCNZ/OBH churches. The next pastoral leaders' morning tea is in Wellington, followed by events in Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Christchurch.
