Your information belongs to you and if you need to you can request access to the personal information that we hold about you by contacting our office. If you need to access, make changes, or update any information that we hold you are most welcome to do so.
Requests for access to personal information may be made directly to the person or department where the information is believed to be held. Alternatively, requests may be made to the privacy officer at email@example.com.
The person who receives a request for access to personal information must respond without undue delay. In most cases, the individual making the request will be able to inspect the information in the form in which it is held or stored and, where appropriate and if requested, be provided with a printed or electronic copy. In limited circumstances, a request for access to personal information may be declined.
If you believe that any personal information about you is not accurate, you may ask for the information to be corrected. The request for a correction should be made in writing and specify the change or changes that you wish to have made. The request should be made directly to the person who holds the information or to firstname.lastname@example.org. If warranted, the requested correction will be made.
CCCNZ will take reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information that we hold and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Personal information is stored in a secure digital environment and backed up to a secure site. Whilst we have adequate security systems in place, preventing potential malicious access cannot be guaranteed. Please be cautious when making personal information available.
We will protect your personal information by using reasonable security safeguards and secure internet connections. We will also protect your personal information against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
