Feilding Bible Chapel ran a school holiday programme for the fourth time, and they share how they have seen God at work.
Our recent School Holiday Programme was our best one yet! Although FBC has only been running holiday programmes for the past year, this was our fourth programme, and it has been wonderful to see how God is growing this ministry.
Around 50 children attended each of the three days, with families from both our church and the wider community joining us. One of the greatest joys was seeing so many familiar faces returning—some children have now attended all four programmes!
This year we were privileged to use the NZ Rally trailer, packed with exciting activities. The go-karts, drift trikes, and Gaga Ball pit were all huge hits with the children.
Sonny and Daisy, our new and exciting puppets, helped bring the Bible stories to life each day. Their fun and engaging presentations were enjoyed by children (and adults!) of all ages.
The greatest highlight of the programme was seeing one child make the decision to give their heart to the Lord. Moments like this remind us why we invest time in ministry like this.
None of this would have been possible without our incredible team of volunteers. From teenagers to our oldest helper, who is 88 years young, each person gave generously of their time and energy to make the programme a success. We are so thankful for every one of them.
