In August, 87 kids and leaders from across Canterbury gathered at Woodend Christian Camp for an unforgettable "Back to Basics" regional camp.
Bringing together young people from Rutland Street Church, Church Street Chapel Timaru, Rowley Bible Church, and Glentunnel Chapel, the event combined hands-on outdoor learning with core Gospel truths.
Campers put teamwork into action through workshops on first aid and knot-tying, built sand waka down at Woodend Beach, and even braved sleeping under tarps until a 2:00 AM rainstorm sent them indoors!
Throughout the weekend, the real highlight was watching cross-regional friendships grow while diving into God's Word together.
This camp is an annual event and it was great to see members of Rowley Bible Church come along for the first time with their recently restarted Rally.
