Curches from across New Zealand came together to study the Bible through the Winter Bible School (WBS) and the Bible Coalition Intensive, both hosted at The Orchard Church in Te Puke.
It was encouraging to see such wide engagement in the Word, with many churches gathering in person and other ones hosting watch parties.
This year, believers from all over the country came together—representing churches like The Orchard Church, Lakes Church Rotorua, Manawarū Bible Chapel, Matamata Bible Church, Queen Street Chapel, Hukanui Bible Church, Church @ Cedarwood, Rossgrove Chapel, Crossroads Church, The Lighthouse Church, Franklin Bible Church, Birkenhead Community Church, Te Awamutu Bible Chapel, Lifezone Church, Church @ 109, Northcross Church, The Coast Community Church, Manurewa Bible Church, Raleigh Street Christian Centre, Lighthouse Church, The Anchor Church, Northern Hills Church, Bryndwr Chapel, and Cornerstone International Bible Church.
United by a desire to go deeper in their faith, they explored the theme Captivated, focusing on a richer understanding of God, Scripture, and the transforming power of the Gospel. This year’s speakers—Dr. Tim Sigler, Pastor Nelson Schonfeldt, and Dr. Charlie Bing—led the sessions with insight and depth.
Straight after, the Bible Coalition Intensive welcomed people from The Orchard Church, Manurewa Bible Church, The Lighthouse Church, and Heretaunga Community Church for five days of deeper learning. Sessions included teaching on Israel’s current conflict and God’s eternal plan, developing a Christian worldview, salvation and discipleship, and living in light of the Kingdom.
It’s deeply encouraging to see such hunger for biblical understanding and spiritual growth.
