Over the past month, Pakuranga Christian Fellowship has been encouraged by six baptisms—five young adults on the last Sunday of June (pictured above), and a new believer from Iran in late May.
Programme Director Diana Hutchinson shared how the whole church was uplifted by the testimonies of those being baptised. Many family and friends who don’t normally attend church also came along to support them.
Diana writes:
“Some were new believers who had been looking for the truth and the meaning of life and have found it after a friend shared about Jesus with them and invited them to church.
"They now love reading the Bible, with one saying, “I began reading my Bible and I couldn’t put it down, almost like I've discovered gold!” Others were recommitting their lives to God after drifting away from him.
“So many in the church shared Bible verses and prayed for them, it was a wonderful time for us all.”
