On Saturday, over 200 people celebrated the 80th Anniversary of Māori Postal Aotearoa (MPA) in Whanganui.
Liz Silcock, a member of the MPA Board, writes:
“It was a great tribute to the faithfulness of the Lord to grow the work of sharing the Gospel, which resulted from the seeds sown by Mr. Arnot Edwards in Northland and Miss Elsie Severinsen in Dargaville, who each posted lessons to Māori children in 1945.”

After the pōwhiri, the National Directors, Malachi and Char Williams, spoke about the work behind the scenes; the MPA Chairman, Russell Hohneck, gave a clear Gospel message; and a former Superintendent, Mr. Ken Forster, spoke of the history of the ministry.
Liz continues by saying:
“There were times of great praise and worship, and many testimonies to the power of the word of God, which has been received through MPA, changing lives throughout the motu. MPA give glory to the Lord for His goodness and thanks for the many people who support the ministry.”
