CCCNZ Enablers are pastors and leaders serving within CCCNZ and Open Brethren heritage churches in New Zealand. CCCNZ Enablers commit a portion of their time and energy to support connection between churches and leaders in their regions and beyond. 

Northland

Andrew Clemow

Andrew is married to Megan and is the Regional Enabler for the Whangarei and Northland Regions. After sensing a call to Pastoral Ministry, Andrew concluded his work in the legal profession and trained at Carey College. He is now the Pastor at Clark Road in Whangarei.

Auckland

Richard Fountain

As Auckland Enabler, Richard works among CCCNZ and Open Brethren heritage churches to grow connections across greater Auckland. Richard is passionate about helping churches and service providers to work together to grow leaders for church flourishing, revitalisation, and planting.

Richard has served as Senior Pastor in an inner city Auckland church, and as a theological consultant, and has taught the Bible and ministry related subjects within Aotearoa, New Zealand and overseas since 2007. His overseas ministry has included The Sudan, Vietnam and, more recently, Nepal. Richard and his wife, Karen, attend Wiremu Street Bible Chapel, and make their home in Mangere, Auckland.

Lui Ponifasio

Lui is the Auckland Mission Enabler, focusing on supporting Auckland churches in their missional church planting. Lui is also Senior Pastor of LifeChurch in Manurewa, the chair of Christian Community Churches International and was a founding board member of CCCNZ. Lui is married to Ane and they have four children. Together, Lui and Ane have been involved in leading and developing churches in New Zealand, the Pacific and further afield. Lui brings a wealth of experience in ministering cross-culturally, pastoring diverse congregations, church planting and evangelistic preaching and teaching.

Marina Shannon

Marina Shannon is the North Shore/West Auckland Youth Enabler. Marina is the youth pastor at Orewa Community Church where she has served since 2014. She is passionate about evangelism and enjoys teaching. She also works part time as a physiotherapist.

Scott Doddrell

Scott Doddrell is the Central East/South Auckland Youth Enabler. Scott has been involved in local church youth ministry for about 20 years serving at Manurewa Bible Chapel. He is employed by Word of Life NZ where he oversees local church youth ministry in the North Island and is passionate about supporting, encouraging and developing the next generation of youth workers in New Zealand.

Waikato

Nick Goodwin

Nick Goodwin is the Regional Enabler for Waikato. Nick is an Associate Pastor at Raleigh Street Christian Centre in Cambridge, and also serves with Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship at the University of Waikato.

Aaron Hodgson

Aaron Hodgson is the Waikato Youth Enabler. Aaron completed his BMin over in Adelaide before taking on the role of youth pastor at Raleigh St Christian Centre in Cambridge at the start of 2018 working with the high school aged ministry and the 24/7 youth work in schools programme.

Gary Gilpin

Gary Gilpin is the Waikato PastorLINK enabler. Gary serves as a pastor at Hukanui Bible Church. 

Manawatū-Whanganui

Kerry Rickard

Kerry Rickard is the CCCNZ PastorLINK Enabler for Manawatū. Kerry is Discipleship Pastor at Kingston Community Church where he serves with his wife, Aliza, and their family. In a previous season of life he was involved in primary education as a teacher and then principal. Kerry has a deep passion to see strong and gifted people released into leadership roles within our churches as they are equipped and discipled by spiritual shepherds. 

Kerry has been released one day a week to invest in the development of the PastorLink National Leadership Team and its implementation of the vision of sustaining ministry.

Wellington

Darryl Ward

Darryl Ward is the Wellington PastorLINK Enabler. Darryl is the pastor of The Anchor in Whitby, Wellington. 

Brad de Villiers

Brad de Villiers is the Wellington Youth Enabler. Brad has been involved in youth ministry for 17 years, all within the Wellington Region. He started as a church intern in Karori. I then ran the Karori Youth Drop-in Centre for the council, for 2.5 years. He is the youth pastors at The Anchor where he has been involved with young people for over 13 years including working in Aotea College (24-7) and in other youth-related settings.

Nelson

Sean Young

Sean Young is the Youth Enabler for the top of the South Island. Sean is the youth pastor at Grace Church in Nelson where he has been employed as youth pastor for four years. Previously he has served with the New Zealand Army in Bosnia, and has worked for the New Zealand Police. He and his wife have two young children. 

Canterbury

Lawson Scott

Lawson Scott is the Regional Enabler for the Canterbury Region. Lawson is married to Lee-Ann and they have four adult children. He is the Chairperson of the Elders at Rutland Street Church in Christchurch. He has a passion to see Rutland Street Church be a welcoming community for those that are seeking God and being a fellowship that encourages discipleship with strong conviction. Outside of responsibilities in the life of the church, Lawson is involved in corporate banking.

National Youth Team Enablers

Murray Brown

Murray is the CCCNZ National Youth Enabler where he works alongside the National Youth Team (regional youth enablers) supporting youth ministries in our movement's churches. He has over 35 years experience in youth ministry, including serving as a youth pastor, denominational leadership (national and regional) and 12 years lecturing in youth ministry at Carey Baptist College. He has taught widely both in NZ and overseas, and has acted as a youth ministry consultant for churches and has been a supervisor/mentor to many youth pastors.

Donna Grant

Donna Grant is part of the National Youth Team with a focus on Coaching. Donna has over 10 years of youth ministry experience ranging from being an intern to a Youth Pastor at Crossroads in Palmerston North where she completed a Diploma in Theology and a Diploma in Family Studies . She's a full time mum to two children and intends to eventually resume her studies to complete a Bachelor in Counselling, with a focus on youth and families.
