HEAD OF CATERING - FOREST LAKES CAMP & CONFERENCE CENTRE

Forest Lakes currently have a position available for Head of Catering.

This is a full time position catering for the varied groups staying at camp and will involve some rostered weekend work.

If you have a passion for food and serving others and do not mind working some long days, we would love to hear from you. Our peak season is September-April and the off peak season May-August. During the off peak season, you will need to be able to assist with general camp maintenance. On-site accommodation is available if required.

CAMP MANAGER - WILLOW PARK CHRISTIAN CAMP (A MEMBER OF THE TE MARU GROUP OF CAMPS)

Willow Park Christian Camp is seeking a Camp Manager with a heart for Christian hospitality, leadership and operational excellence who will guide the next season of growth and ministry

Willow Park Christian Camp is located just metres from Eastern Beach, Auckland and operates with a clear mission: to provide a safe, welcoming, and spiritually enriching environment for all guests.

We are committed to Christian values, community engagement, and high-quality camp experiences. With the recent retirement of long-serving Camp Managers, Willow Park Christian Camp has entered an exciting season of transition and renewal including the integration into Te Maru Ltd.

Purpose of the Role

As the Camp Manager, you will be the operational leader of Willow Park. You’ll oversee all aspects of camp life — from implementing strategic direction and providing staff leadership to maintaining a high standard of guest experience, compliance, and financial health. Your leadership will ensure Willow Park remains a vibrant, spiritually grounded, and well-run Christian ministry.

HEAD CHEF - TEAPOT VALLEY CHRISTIAN CAMP

Teapot Valley is recruiting a new head Chef

The role - You will be the leader of a small team providing meals for between 30 and 120 people that are staying at camp. In this role, you will provide efficient and effective food service presenting meals in an appealing and appetizing manner in accordance with our goals and objectives.

Tasks will include menu planning, ordering stock, completing documentation, maintaining a hygienic work environment, preparing and serving meals and following health and safety policies and procedures. This is a permanent full time position. We are a faith-based organisation and the successful applicant will need to respect and work within this Christian identity.

The ideal applicant - You will have experience cooking for large groups, have efficient time management skills, be reliable and a multi tasker. You will have great communication skills with both children and adults and a friendly and approachable demeanour.

Position Title: Director of Ministry (Part-time)

Main Purpose of the Position: To oversee the co-ordination and administration of all Highland Home Christian Camp programmes.

General Requirements:

● This is a team ministry and requires recognition of the needs of others and provision of support in all aspects of camp ministry work when appropriate.

● This position requires active recruiting, training and empowering individuals to action tasks successfully.

● This job needs to be undertaken in line with the camp philosophy, values, and objectives.

● Seek every opportunity to continuously improve HHCC ministry camps.

● Proactively engage in promoting and marketing the camp.

● Actively represent Jesus in word and deed to everyone at Highland Home Christian Camp
