Word of Life is an international Christian ministry with a long history in New Zealand of supporting churches and Christian youth ministries in reaching and discipling young people for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have a bold vision to see every young person in our nation impacted by the Gospel through a friend.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a communications specialist with a desire to use their skills and experience to help us achieve our vision.

You will provide strategic and operational public relations, marketing, and related administrative support to the National Director, creative team, and leadership team, to optimise and enhance our communications channels.

  • You are an effective communicator with a Christ-centred, evangelistic heart, and a desire to see the Good News of Jesus Christ shared with young people in our nation.
  • You will have experience in managing external and/or internal communications and public relations, and in growing and enhancing brand reach and effectiveness.
  • You will have an understanding of marketing channels, including social media, and digital content creation and management.

This is a varied and interesting role which will require you to be a self-starter. You will bring a strategic view to how we manage our marketing, communications, and public relations more effectively. The role will also be responsible for some confidential administrative support tasks for the senior team and board from time to time.

We are open to flexible or job-share arrangements or part-time hours that fit around your other responsibilities.

There is a preference for this role to be based in our National office in Hamilton, however we are open to considering other arrangements if mutually suitable.

MMM MOBILE TEAM LEADER

MMM is seeking Mobile Team Leaders for the North and South Island. Working with MMM is a great opportunity to work alongside and support all the good stuff that is happening in the Christian community.

Every day requests come to MMM from ministries seeking MMM's help to develop their facility so they can impact God's world more. We are privileged to assist in meeting that need.

Every day we pray for more workers, never more work, we have plenty of ministries needing our support.

MMM is committed to a high standard of Health and Safety on every project.
MMM has vehicles and equipment including mobile scaffolding. However, you will be required to have basic electric/battery tools.


Location: North Island or South Island, this position is mobile. 


To be successful in this role you will need to:
Be seeking God regarding His will and direction for your life.
Be qualified/skilled or experienced in the building trade.
Love working with a variety of people in many different places.
Desire to see the Good News of Jesus spread If you have a mobile home that is a great way to serve with MMM


Salary: This position is non-salaried (as are all positions in MMM) however, it comes with training on how to build a partnership support team, low-cost housing and work vehicle.


The role of the Project Team Leader is a varied one. On the project site, as the Team Leader, you will be responsible for communicating with the ministry you are serving on what is required for this project. You also coordinate the volunteers, who have various backgrounds, to complete the project ensuring each person is happy and suited to their task. Every day on an MMM project we pause to share a devotion and prayer time at Morning Tea.  As the Project Team Leader, you are also responsible for the condition and use of tools and maintaining MMM’s high Health and Safety standards.
