NZ Rally National Trainer
Part Time Role - Christchurch (but open to other NZ Locations) - 20 hrs per week
Since 1944 NZ Rally’s mission has been:
Preparing Kids for Life, Life with Jesus and Life for Others
A Rally is a Ministry of it’s Church, the NZ Rally Trust exists to:
Connect with churches & their Rallies as they start and then run their Rally
Inspire initiatives to attract new kids
Supply quality resources
Help Train Rally Adult and Cadets (junior) Leaders.
About the Role
We are seeking a person with a warm personality and skill set to coordinate and run our regional training days and our cadet training course including encouraging those participating, assist in new Rally start ups and further develop and implement our life skills system aimed at Kids between 7-12 years old. All to help Rally Leaders as they lovingly help Prepare Kids for Life.
What would this person be doing?
Planning & Running at least 5 Regional Training Days across New Zealand (Saturdays)
Managing our 2 year Cadet Training Course and those involved in completing the course
Write and implement a 5 year Life Skills program that Rally leaders use to teach Kids
Assisting in New Rally Plants
Exploring future training opportunities that NZ Rally may offer
Meet with existing Rally leaders across New Zealand to keep current with training needs
Who are we looking for? Someone who has:
Strong people Skills and warm personality that encourages all involved to work well together.
Strong understanding of how to develop life skill training for kids ministry leaders & then train the leaders.
Strong writing and communication skills
A passion for the Rally Movement to be strong and effective across New Zealand
Ability to travel locally and within New Zealand on a regular basis

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & BOARD SECRETARY - TE MARU CHRISTIAN CAMPS

About the role
We are seeking a calm, capable Executive Assistant to work closely with our CEO and serve as Board Secretary for Te Maru.
This is a trusted, relational role focused on:
Supporting the CEO to lead well
Bringing clarity, rhythm, and follow‑through
Supporting strong, well‑organised Board governance
The primary focus is supporting the CEO and Board. There is some occasional wider support, but this is not a general organisational administration role.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting the CEO
Managing diary, meetings, and scheduling
Preparing agendas, papers, and briefing materials
Tracking follow‑ups and commitments
Supporting communication, travel, and logistics
Anticipating needs and providing proactive, thoughtful support
Supporting the Te Maru Board
Acting as Board Secretary
Coordinating Board meetings and preparing meeting packs
Taking clear, accurate minutes and tracking actions
Maintaining Board records and documentation
Supporting good governance processes with care and professionalism
Occasional wider support
Providing limited and occasional administrative support to the SLT and Support Office as agreed
Assisting with coordination or small improvement tasks as capacity allows
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar senior support role
Is highly organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
Exercises sound judgement and handles confidential information with care
Is comfortable working closely with a CEO and supporting Board processes
Communicates clearly and professionally
Enjoys enabling others to do their best work
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who resonates with a relational, values‑driven way of working — someone who brings integrity, humility, care for people, and a desire to contribute to something meaningful.
