Hope Community Church is seeking to appoint a Pastoral Care Co-Ordinator to our great staff team.
Our hugely loved Shepherding Pastor is retiring, and we are building this legacy into a role that focuses on equipping people to care, coordinating needs with the right level of care, and creating community amongst the church family.
The right person will have experience in pastoral care, be able to equip and train others, be great with people, and sharp in communication and co-ordination.
Our large gatherings are filled with joy, worship and the Word, and our small gatherings foster belonging, discipleship and mission. We love our Tasman community. In employment, we prioritize Christian character, and alignment with our beliefs, values and family culture.

SENIOR PASTOR - HILLCREST CHAPEL

Hillcrest Chapel are seeking to appoint a part-time Senior Pastor to help the Chapel achieve its mission:
People helping people into a growing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Hillcrest Chapel is a vibrant long standing “Open Brethren Assembly” situated in Hillcrest, Hamilton, New Zealand.
Like other Open Brethren churches in New Zealand with which it is associated, it is autonomous. A strong emphasis is placed on the participation of members in accordance with their gifts, in worship and in various ministries and activities.
The church is led by Elders supported by other groups of people including staff and ministry volunteers.

This role will support the Elders through leadership (people and spiritual), prayer and intercession, pastoral care, community engagement, outreach, discipleship, and teaching/preaching. The Pastor will attend Elders meetings for the purpose of advising on core ministry activities including key performance indicators agreed to by the Elders. The Pastor will not be appointed as an Elder.
We are seeking an experienced person with suitable qualifications and interests committed to ongoing personal spiritual growth and professional development. The successful applicant will ideally have five years plus of relevant experience in pastoral ministry roles or other relevant experiences. The Pastor will co-ordinate pastoral care while fostering a sense of belonging and community within Hillcrest Chapel. The Pastor will also have a passion for leading our high performing staff team of three who support and serve our church community.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES PASTOR - HILLCREST CHAPEL
PART-TIME ROLE

Hillcrest Chapel is a warm, friendly family-centered church that is committed to growing all our people, but in particular our children and young people, into a growing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ.
To this end, we have a vacancy on staff for a Children and Families Pastor due to the current staff member in this role stepping down. This role is varied and exciting, with plenty of scope for the right person to add their own touch.
Planning for 2025 is in place, and the current Children and Families Pastor is more than happy to support whoever takes on this role. It involves planning and implementing the Sunday morning programmes for kids in our church, organising social events for Livewires (weekly outreach programme for children) twice a term, resourcing parents & caregivers, and leading a team to organise community outreach events four times a year.

SENIOR PASTOR - BIRKENHEAD COMMUNITY CHURCH

YOUTH PASTOR - GRACE CHURCH RICHMOND
We are looking for A youth Pastor to lead our established and thriving youth Ministry at Grace Church
About you
We are seeking a spiritually mature servant leader who interacts well with teenage young people and can shepherd and disciple them to follow Jesus.
About the Role
Together with a team of youth leaders you would run activities and bible studies to establish strong relationships among our youth and leaders. You will aim to create an environment of acceptance and community where young people are discipled, their gifts are discovered and developed, they are cared for in times of need, prayer happens naturally and God’s grace is experienced as love for one another is lived out . As this occurs there will be a willingness to reach out to those outside our group and welcome them in.
We have a great relationship with Christian Camps in the top of the South Island and this would be an integral part of the youth ministry.
This is a part time role of about 20 hours however there may be opportunity to expand the hours depending on the skill set and experience of the applicant.
