LEAD PASTOR - AGORA CHURCH

Agora is a vibrant and diverse family church deeply committed to loving God.

Based in Frankton Hamiliton, with a heart to see people reached for Jesus in Hamilton City and beyond, Agora Church is grounded in God’s Word, the Bible, and focused on bringing its vision to life. “A growing multicultural community who love God, love each other, and love the world”. With a café operating within the church 5 days a week, the church functions as a modern-day spiritual marketplace where community begins.

We are seeking a Lead Pastor whose heart is for the health of the church and our core ministries, providing spiritual leadership to grow our congregation. The role requires someone who can mentor, create community, and engage in ways that enable us to reach out evangelistically.

Hours: 40-45 Hours per week (Hours of work are flexible).

FULL TIME ASSISTANT PASTOR - NORTHGATE COMMUNITY CHURCH

Northgate Community Church is a relatively young church with an Open Brethren Heritage based in North Hamilton. Our assistant pastor role has recently become vacant, and we are currently looking for a new pastor to fill the position.

The Assistant Pastor’s primary focus would be on ministering to youth and young adults while providing significant support to the Lead Pastor in pastoral care, teaching, community outreach, and discipleship.

We are looking for someone who is not only a committed Christian but also possesses a genuine passion for guiding and nurturing young individuals to become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.

CHILDREN'S WORKER - RALEIGH ST CHRISTIAN CENTRE

Raleigh Street Christian Centre is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Children's Worker at Leamington Primary School in Cambridge.

As a Children's Worker, you will play a vital role in meeting basic needs, fostering well-being through lunchtime fun activities, supporting transitions, connecting with families and communities, and providing mentoring.

If you have proven experience working with children, basic leadership skills, and a commitment to Christian ideals, we invite you to apply. HND COMMUNITY WORKER: 20-30 HOURS PER WEEK

We are a community hub in the centre of Roslyn, one of the lowest socioeconomic suburbs in Palmerston North.

We are the main local outreach arm of Church on Vogel, Palmerston North. The House Next Door promotes Christian values and a holistic approach to community health, recognising that mental, spiritual, physical, and relational well-being are inseparable. We connect with this community through caring relationships, diverse programmes, and targeted education. We currently employ 7 part-time staff and rely on many volunteers from the Church.

We are looking to employ a community worker for a Christian organisation for 20 to 30 hours per week, reporting to the Trust Manager.

The role is varied and involves a mix of interpersonal, administrative and advocacy work including mentoring young girls, assisting with HND programmes and community events. A large part of the role can be created around your passions, giftings and skillsets.

Programmes include: After School and School Holiday Programme, Youth Group, Exercise Classes, Educational Support, Mentoring, Drop-In Centre and Support Services.
