CAMP MANAGERS - KARAKARIKI CHRISTIAN CAMP

Karakariki Christian Camp is looking for new camp managers starting around autumn 2023.

Our camp was established in 1981, and our mission is to reach children for Christ, and to provide a camping opportunity for small to medium groups that may not be able to hire larger facilities.

We are a small/medium camp sleeping 90 people located in a beautiful rural environment approx 20 kms west of Hamilton, with a range of outdoor activities available.

The primary characteristics we are looking for are a love for Christ and others, a servant heart and a strong commitment to the special character of Christian camping.

We are looking for energy and enthusiasm, and the skillset we are seeking focuses particularly on proven leadership of children’s ministry, outdoor activities, bulk catering and administration skills.

Because this is a small/medium camp, the managers’ role is very much hands on, rather than solely an office role.

Applicants will be good communicators and flexible in terms of working hours and job description. Cleaning and maintenance skills, previous experience of NZ compliance requirements and an understanding of Xero accounting software would be additional advantages.

The job description covering above characteristics and skills could be varied/shared collaboratively with a married couple, to suit their individual skills, but we are also open to hearing from individual applicants with outstanding administration or operational management skills

Feel free to learn more about Karakariki from our website campkcc.org.nz, and submit expressions of interest to hazelegg@hotmail.com

We would love you to tell us a little about yourselves

Closing date for applications/enquires is 24 January 2023
