BOARD MEMBER VACANCY Willow Park Camp Trust Board – Eastern Beach

The Board is looking for people to replace some retiring members, and strengthen our governance structure for the future.

The Board is the governing body of the Willow Park Christian Camp, an iconic camping facility located on a 2.5Ha property at Eastern Beach in Auckland.  The purpose of the Trust is to utilise the Camp facilities to preach the Gospel and facilitate the furtherance and promotion of Christian Life. The Camp has a history dating from 1938 and has been much used by God over the years in reaching people with the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. 

The Board is grateful for the past, but future-focused;  aware of its great responsibility to ensure this significant asset and ministry is well prepared to build on its legacy and continue to thrive for future generations. To this end, the Board is looking for Trustees who are passionate about the mission and purpose of the Trust; they must be members of good standing in their local Open Brethren Assembly; and have some experience with Christian Camping (even if just attending one).   In an ideal world they will also have had some exposure to a governance role.
